Following-on from the enormous success of the Secret Garden and general tidying of the school grounds, the School would like submissions or thoughts on further developing the generous spaces around the School.The benefit of sports and physical activities to developing children, cannot be overstated, while the interaction with the outdoors fosters creativity and imagination, as seen by the outdoor-classroom, and the secret-garden. An all-weather pitch to cater for all sports would be a wonderful asset for school and Community alike, and an interactive vegetable and Herb Garden would help promote a positive message for all our children. The sense of Community within the school is without parallel , and the involvement of the parents and students alike in this project is openly welcomed.
Indeed , we are hoping to “lean” on the expertise of anyone within the Community who could help us make this happen. If you have any ideas, requests,or visions please email them to kilmacanogue2020@gmail.com and we will try and set up a Committee in the Autumn with a view to creating a masterplan to get the project off the ground .
