KILMACANOGUE NATIONAL SCHOOL
WEDNESDAY NEWSLETTER SEPTEMBER 23rd 2020
Dear Parents/Guardians and of course Boys and Girls,
We are now into our 4th week back to school and time is really flying by with the children working so hard at their school-work as well as being happy to be back in school with their friends.
This week’s newsletter will contain lots of photos showing the lovely Art-Work being done by all the classes throughout the school .
Just a few reminders first:
Aoife McGrath from McGrath Flood Irish Dancing School has asked us to let you know that her Irish Dancing classes will take place every Wednesday afternoon in the GAA hall. Needless to say all protocols will be followed in line with HSE and gov.ie guidelines regarding COVID-19. For more details and information, please contact Aoife on 0857375833
It is great to welcome Jackie Kinch back to day who will resume her GAA training with the Senior Classes over the next few weeks. 6th Class were delighted to be chosen today and hopefully every Wednesday, they will be working with Jackie.
With thanks to Fr Hyacinth and to Celia Flynn and Breda Connolly for all their help the 6 Confirmation Celebrations took place over the weekend in St Mochonog’s Church, with 4 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. It was lovely seeing all the children from last year’s 6th Class. The ceremonies were really beautiful and very special and unique. We all really miss them here in Kilmacanogue National School. We look forward to seeing them when they visit us very soon.
