    KILMACANOGUE NATIONAL SCHOOL

    WEDNESDAY NEWSLETTER

    NOVEMBER 18TH  2020

Dear Parents/Guardians and of course Boys and Girls,

Our pictures this week feature the wonderful Art and Project Work of Junior Infants, First Class, Second Class and Sixth Class. Check them out at the end of this Newsletter.

There has been great excitement this week as children in all the classes have been trying to work out the Bedlam Cube Puzzle!! It has been very challenging but…….tah dah!! The boys and girls of 6th Class worked it out!! Well done to them. They will of course be rewarded for their success!!

Well done to everyone who is working very hard to uphold the COVID-19/HSE guidelines by wearing their face masks as well as keeping their distance and washing their hands regularly. The school is being cleaned to within an inch of its existence with sprays and wipes and gels and disinfectants and of course lots and lots of ventilation! Thanks everyone for all your support.

The children have been very lucky so far in that they have managed to get out to play almost every single day since they returned to school last September 1st. It seems so long ago and yet the time has flown by! Not long to go now before the man in the Red Suit visits us……!

Just to let anyone know who has applied for a place for their child in next year’s Junior Infants’ Class, the first round of place offers has been posted and should arrive on Friday November 20th or Monday November 23rd as outlined in the school’s Admission Policy and Annual Admission Notice which is available on the school website: www.kilmacschool.ie

And now a message from our wonderful Parents’ Association Committee:
