    KILMACANOGUE NATIONAL SCHOOL

    WEDNESDAY NEWSLETTER MAY 6th 2020

WE LOVE THE BOYS AND GIRLS OF KILMACANOGUE NATIONAL SCHOOL

Dear Parents/Guardians and of course Boys and Girls,

Another beautiful day of sunshine is coming to a close. The view around Bray promenade has been spectacular these past few days. I hope that you all enjoyed being out and about getting lots of vitamin D, walking, cycling or skating!

I have printed and posted off resources to several parents who have internet and printer difficulties. Please let me know if anyone else needs any support in facilitating your child to access the resources being sent by their teachers via Class Dojo and SeeSaw.

Based on the news coming from the Department of Education and Skills, it is very disappointing to hear that the school will not be opening before September and especially heart breaking for our wonderful 6th Class children.

I want to assure the children in 6th Class, that the school will be organising lots of wonderful events and activities to celebrate your Graduation so please do not worry about that. Indeed, your teacher Miss Kyne will be in contact with you for ideas and then, with myself and all the other teachers and your parents, we will organise the events and their dates. Miss Kyne and myself will keep you posted so just be prepared!!! It will all be very exciting and great fun and even better than ever before, BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL WORTH IT!

Remember to keep in contact via the school’s email address kilmacanoguens.com, the school website www.kilmacschool.ie and Twitter @kilmacanoguens.com and of course keep in contact with your class teacher. We always love hearing from you.

And now for Miss Murray’s joke

Why can’t Elsa have a balloon?……….Because she will LET IT GO!!

    Niamh

    Niamh Murray (Principal)

Did you know that when he first had the idea for Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney was rejected by bankers 300 times because they thought the idea was absurd?

Walt Disney will forever be remembered as a man whose vision continues to shape our reality through the hundreds of wonderful films and cartoons he helped create.

WALT DISNEY NEVER GAVE UP NO MATTER WHAT!!
