KILMACANOGUE NATIONAL SCHOOL
WEDNESDAY NEWSLETTER APRIL 1st 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians and of course Boys and Girls,

WE LOVE THE BOYS AND GIRLS OF
KILMACANOGUE NATIONAL SCHOOL

How are you all keeping? Isn’t the weather beautiful? I hope that you played lots of jokes today because it is April Fool’s Day. Unfortunately I was caught out by a few jokes myself!!!

Well done to everyone who is engaging with the online resources and interactive class platforms of Class Dojo and SeeSaw. I am hearing great news from the teachers about all the work being done by the children.

Please remember that no one is under any pressure to do any of this work or to engage with the sites. We are here to help you all in anyway we can and most especially as educators of your children. It is always very useful to have resources and access to online sites and school interactive platforms especially during these days so as to enhance the daily life of everyone but not to undermine or make things difficult. Some children love doing school work and some do not, that is fine, all we can do is encourage and to be of help. Once the children are HAPPY that is all that matters.

Attached to this newsletter is a selection of photos showing all the great work being done by the boys and girls of Kilmacanogue National School. Please keep them coming and we will display them in our Wednesday Newsletter as well as on our Kilmacanogue National School Children’s Picture Board.

So remember boys and girls to get involved in lots of different things that make you happy and to PLAY PLAY PLAY!! And of course help out at home too!!

And now, joke time!!
Did you hear about the mathematician who’s afraid of negative numbers???………
He’ll stop at NOTHING to avoid them!!!

Thanks to Freya Dempsey in 6th Class for this great joke.

Look after yourselves and be assured of my support always,

Niamh
